本标准规定了用亚硫酸钠法测定硫化橡胶中的游离硫。本标准适用于以下各种硫化橡胶中游离硫的测定：天然橡胶、丁苯橡胶、顺丁橡胶、丁腈橡胶、氯丁橡胶、合成聚异戊二烯橡胶以及上述橡胶的并用橡胶。本方法不适用于丁基橡胶及未硫化橡胶。
