【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesperformanceanddurabilitycharacteristicsofneedle-punchedsportssurfacesprimarilyusedoutdoors.Twocategoriesofsurfacesarecovered,basedontheprincipalsportinguseofthesurface,asfollows:--surfacesdesignedformulti-sportsuse;and--surfacesdesignedprimarilyfortennis.Therequirementsareintendedtoapplytosurfacesusedforcommunity,educationalandrecreationalsport.Forprofessionalandelitelevelsofcompetition,manysportsgoverningbodieshavepublishedtheirownspecifications;therequirementsofthesportsgoverningbodiesmightdifferfromthosedetailedinthisEuropeanStandardandfacilitydevelopersareadvisedtoensurethattheyselectsurfacesofferingthecorrectlevelsofperformanceforthelevelsofcompetitiontobeplayedonthepitchorcourt.ThisEuropeanStandardisbasedontypeapprovaltestingofproductsinthelaboratory.Selectedrequirementsmayalsobeusedon-sitetoassessthesuitabilityofinstalledsurfaces.GuidanceonthetestingofinstallationsisgiveninAnnexA.
