【摘要】:Twoprocedures,AandB,areoutlinedinthistestmethod.ProcedureAisusedmostoftenfordevelopmentofvariousbeveragecontainerdesignstodeterminethefunctionalcharacteristicsofthepackageinregardtoshelflife.ProcedureBisrecommendedforuseinbeveragefillingoperationsasaqualitycontroltoolinmaintainingthedesiredCO2fillpressure.AlossofCO2willaffectproducttaste.ProcedureAinvolvestheuseofsensitivepressureandtemperaturemonitoringequipmentwhereahighdegreeofaccuracyisessential,forexample,amicro-pressuretransducerandthermocoupleformeasuringpressureandtemperatureofthepackageinaclosedsystem.Alternatively,thisproceduremayalsousebottlesclosedwithroll-onaluminumcapscontainingrubberseptums.Theseptumispiercedwithahypodermicneedleattachedtoapressuretransducertoobtainpressurereadings.Thisprocedureshouldbeconfinedtolaboratoriesthatarepracticedinthistypeofanalyticaltesting.ProcedureBismorewidelyusedwhenmeasuringthecarbonationlevelofthepackageduetothesimplicityofthetechnique.AsimpleZahm-NaglepressureassemblyorTerrisCO2Analyzerisutilized.1.1Theobjectiveofthistestmethodistodeterminethecarbondioxide(CO2)lossfromplasticbeveragecontainersafteraspecifiedperiodofstoragetime.1.2Factorscontributingtothispressurelossarevolumeexpansionandthegastransportcharacteristicsofthepackageincludingpermeationandleakage.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Fromatestportionallethanol-solublematterisremovedbyextractionwithethanol.Inthepresenceofsilicatesthesolutionoftheresidueistreatedwithhydrochloricacidandevaporatedtodryness.Theresidueisdissolvedinwaterandtheoperationsarerepeatedtwice.Thelastsolutionisfilteredandinthefiltrateorinthesilicatefreesolutionofthefirststepthesulfatesareprecipitatedwithbariumchloride.Theprecipitateisfiltered,washed,heatedat900degreeCelsiusandweighed.
